Pastor Joshua J. Mercado, Executive Board Member of Disaster Response Ministries International (DRMI-NY Team), had the privilege to attend a special Meet and Greet with Governor and New York City Mayoral Candidate Andrew Cuomo, alongside other community pastors, clergy, bishops, and community leaders.
Governor Cuomo shared his vision for the future of New York City, emphasizing unity, progress, and stronger collaboration with the faith-based community to bring positive change across the city.
Disaster Response Ministries International (DRMI) does not endorse or support any political candidates or parties. We firmly believe that each individual should seek God’s guidance and vote according to the conviction that the Lord places in their heart—regardless of political affiliation.
As a ministry, we remain committed to prayer and unity, lifting up our leaders and our nation, that God’s wisdom and peace would guide all who serve in positions of authority.
A heartfelt thank you to Rev. Fernando Cabrera for the kind invitation and the opportunity for Pastor Joshua J. Mercado to represent DRMI among fellow faith and community leaders.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
1 Timothy 2:1–2 (NIV)
