Who We Are
Disaster Response Ministries International (DRMI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit disaster-relief organization committed to bringing hope, help, and compassion to individuals, families, and communities affected by disasters and times of crisis.
Inspired by Matthew 25:34–36, DRMI believes that serving people in their time of greatest need is an expression of the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
We respond to natural and human-caused disasters, including hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, wildfires, and other emergencies. Through trained volunteers, chaplains, community partnerships, and relief efforts, DRMI works to meet both the practical and emotional-spiritual needs of those affected.

What We Do
Disaster Relief
DRMI supports communities affected by disasters by mobilizing volunteers, collecting and distributing essential relief supplies, supporting recovery efforts, and collaborating with churches, nonprofit organizations, emergency-management agencies, and other community partners.
Chaplaincy
Our trained chaplains provide a compassionate presence during disasters, emergencies, grief, loss, and other difficult circumstances. Chaplains offer emotional and spiritual care, prayer, encouragement, crisis support, and ministry to individuals, families, communities, and first responders.
Disaster Preparedness
DRMI believes preparedness saves lives. We promote disaster awareness, emergency preparedness, and community resilience through education, training, outreach, and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) involvement.
Community Outreach
Our mission extends beyond disaster response. DRMI volunteers and chaplains serve communities through outreach initiatives designed to provide practical assistance, encouragement, compassion, and hope to people facing hardship.
Training
DRMI equips volunteers and chaplains with training that strengthens their ability to serve safely, effectively, and compassionately before, during, and after emergencies.
Our Mission
Inspired by Matthew 25:34–36, Disaster Response Ministries International exists to embody the love and compassion of Christ by providing emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals and communities impacted by disasters.
Through trained chaplains and a Christ-centered approach, we seek to serve “the least of these” by bringing comfort to the grieving, hope to the displaced, assistance to those in need, and compassionate care to vulnerable communities.

Working Together
Disaster response requires cooperation. DRMI seeks to work alongside local and national authorities, emergency-management organizations, churches, nonprofit organizations, relief agencies, first responders, and community partners to help ensure an organized and effective response.
We believe that when organizations and communities work together, we can reach more people, provide greater assistance, and help communities move from crisis to recovery and from hardship to hope.
Our Commitment
At the heart of DRMI is a simple calling:
Serve people. Bring hope. Demonstrate compassion. Be present when people need us most.
Whether providing disaster supplies, supporting a grieving family, praying with a survivor, assisting a community partner, or preparing communities for future emergencies, DRMI strives to demonstrate the love of Christ through both words and action.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink…” — Matthew 25:35
