DRMI Activated to support Hurricane Ian Response

On September 28, 2022, Pastor Raul Velasquez, Founder and President of Disaster Response Ministries International (DRMI), activated the DRMI-CERT team in response to Hurricane Ian approaching Florida.

The Hillsborough County Office of Emergency Management had requested DRMI-CERT leadership to

assistance in staffing emergency support function (ESF #15) at the Hillsborough County PSOC/EOC.

DRMI-CERT, which stands for Community Emergency Response Team, is a group of trained volunteers who assist in disaster response efforts. The team was mobilized to provide emergency support and assist with any necessary preparations for Hurricane Ian.
