Disaster Response Ministries International (DRMI) has sent emergency relief supplies to assist families across Jamaica devastated by Category 5 Hurricane Melissa.
Approximately eight pallets of ready-to-eat meals (MREs), hygiene products, and baby essentials were packed by DRMI volunteers and loaded by FAMA volunteers at its temporary Disaster Relief Warehouse in Seffner, Florida. The shipment is being transported through DRMI’s trusted partner, the Jamaica Missions Impact Team, who will personally deliver the aid to the hardest-hit communities.
DRMI extends special thanks to the Faith Action Ministry Alliance (FAMA) for picking up and transporting the supplies-especially Ms. Veronica Nichols, FAMA Volunteer Coordinator, and Pastor Alfred Johnson, FAMA Founder-for their outstanding leadership and service.
Gratitude is also extended to Pastor Peter Martínez and New Jerusalem Christian Church for providing the warehouse space that made this relief effort possible.
“As a ministry, we are called to bring hope, help, and healing,” said Dr. Raul Velasquez, Founder and President of DRMI. “This mission reflects the heart of service shared by all our partners and volunteers.”
