Saturday. July 8 | New York City, N.Y.
We are excited to share with you the incredible events that unfolded at the East 117th Community Garden this past weekend in New York City, NY. It was truly a testament to God's goodness and the power of unity within our community.
Before we even began our Chaplaincy class, a remarkable occurrence took place. A couple approached us, seeking prayer and guidance in their lives. Moved by their sincerity, we had the privilege of witnessing their decision to give their lives to Jesus. Let us all rejoice and praise the Lord for His transformative work in their lives. It is moments like these that remind us of the profound impact our community can have when we come together in faith.
Our NY Chaplain Team continued their remarkable efforts by organizing a community outreach program. We embarked on a mission to touch the lives of those around us and share the love of God through prayer. With compassion in our hearts and a desire to make a difference, we offered our prayers and support to individuals in need. Through these interactions, we were able to connect on a deep and personal level, spreading hope and encouragement to all who crossed our path.
In addition to our meaningful endeavors, we also took time to enjoy the fellowship of one another over a delightful lunch. These moments of camaraderie and shared laughter served as a reminder of the unity that binds us as a community. We are immensely grateful for these opportunities to come together and strengthen our bonds, fostering an environment of love and support.
We would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to our DRMI Staten Island Chaplains leadership for their unwavering support and guidance. Their dedication to the Manhattan Team has been instrumental in our efforts to serve the community with excellence. We are grateful for their commitment and encouragement, as they continue to inspire us to make a difference in the lives of those we encounter.
As we reflect on the remarkable experiences and testimonies shared during our time at the East 117th Community Garden, let us remember that God's goodness knows no bounds. He works through us, using our unity and compassion to touch the lives of others and spread His love far and wide.
We encourage you to join us in prayer for the couple who embraced Jesus as their savior and for all the individuals we encountered during our community outreach. May their lives be transformed by God's grace, and may they find strength and solace in their newfound faith.
Thank you for your continued support and participation in our community outreach. Together, we are making a significant impact, one seed at a time.
