Congregation of Yahweh Invited DRMI to speak on Hurricane Preparedness

Lutz, Florida - On June 17, the Congregation of Yahweh (COY) in Lutz, Florida, welcomed esteemed guests Founder & President Dr. Raul and Pastor Robin Velasquez from the Disaster Response Ministries International (DRMI) The duo delivered a captivating presentation on hurricane preparedness and community emergency response team (CERT) training, providing valuable insights and knowledge to the congregation.

The event, which was held at the COY church, proved to be a resounding success, with church members and attendees expressing gratitude for the informative session.

Following the event, DRMI and COY collaborated to organize a CERT training program specifically tailored for the church community. The training will be facilitated by DRMI certified CERT Instructors, a reputable organization based in Valrico, Florida, known for its commendable work in chaplaincy, disaster response, and preparedness.

The FEMA CERT training, sponsored by the Hillsborough County Office of Emergency Management, is part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Community Emergency Response Team initiative.
