DRMI NY Chaplains bring Ministry of Presence to the 40th Annual National Night Out in Manhattan N.Y.

The DRMI NY Chaplains added a meaningful touch to the 40th Annual National Night Out event in Manhattan. The event brought together people from various backgrounds and organizations, including the New York City Police Department's (NYPD) 23rd and 25th precincts.


The National Night Out is an annual initiative that aims to enhance the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.


The DRMI NY Chaplains played a vital role in creating an atmosphere of unity and support. Their ministry of presence, marked by compassion and understanding, provided a source of comfort to attendees.


The chaplains offered prayers, a listening ear, guidance, strength, hope and a shoulder to lean on, reminding everyone of the importance of human connection in building stronger communities.


The NYPD's 23rd precinct Community affair officers, and the Chief of Patrol Chell represented at the event, expressed their gratitude for the Chaplains' involvement.
