DRMI Receives Hillsborough County CERT Proclamation Award

Disaster Response Ministries International (DRMI) was honored to receive the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Proclamation Award from Commissioner Gwen Myers, Hillsborough County, and the Hillsborough County Office of Emergency Management & Fire Rescue.
The award recognizes DRMI’s continued commitment to disaster preparedness, emergency response, volunteer service, and community outreach throughout Hillsborough County and the Tampa Bay region.
DRMI Founder, Dr. Raul Velasquez and Pastor Robin Velasquez, were honored to accept the proclamation award on behalf of the ministry and its dedicated team of volunteers, chaplains, and CERT members who faithfully serve during times of crisis and disaster.
“We are truly grateful for this recognition and for the opportunity to continue serving our community,” said Dr. Raul Velasquez. “Partnerships with Hillsborough County and local emergency management agencies help strengthen disaster readiness and community resilience.”
