Today, the DRMI Chaplains Emergency Response Team proudly attended the 2026 Tampa Hurricane Expo in Tampa, Florida, alongside the Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) Canteen volunteers and staff. The event brought together emergency response organizations, volunteers, and community partners to promote hurricane preparedness and disaster readiness throughout the Tampa Bay area.
As part of their continued commitment to serving the community, DRMI Chaplains were honored to support the Salvation Army EDS by providing Wawa sandwiches to volunteers working throughout the event. The team also assisted with outreach efforts and encouraged families to remain prepared for the 2026 hurricane season.
DRMI extends a special thank you to the trained Tampa Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members for their assistance with feeding operations and community support during the expo. Their dedication and teamwork helped make the event a success.
Disaster Response Ministries International remains committed to bringing hope, help, and healing to communities through disaster response, chaplaincy support, and community outreach.
