DRMI-NY is proud to recognize six of our newly graduated chaplains who dedicated their Saturday, May 30, to serving their community through a neighborhood clean-up project alongside local Block Association members.
From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the team worked together cleaning streets, cutting trees, and removing limbs to help beautify and support the neighborhood. Their willingness to serve reflects the heart of DRMI’s mission — bringing hope, help, and compassion to communities through action and service.
The chaplains participating in the outreach were Christina Vega, Azarael Vega, Jose Ponce, Grace Ponce, Angelica Sola, and Rosa Valle. DRMI-NY also extends sincere appreciation to the volunteers from the Block Association who joined in the community effort.
At Disaster Response Ministries International, we believe chaplaincy goes beyond the classroom. It is demonstrated through service, leadership, and being the hands and feet of Christ within our communities.
We thank these chaplains and volunteers for their dedication, servant hearts, and commitment to making a positive difference.
