Chaplains participated in the ARRL Field Day

Disaster Response Ministries International President/Founder Pastor Raul (callsign KK4KRA) and Pastor Robin (callsign KM4RPT), participated in the ARRL Field Day activities .

Also DRMI tested its emergency communication equipment including amateur radios, GMRS radios, and the Zello walkie-talkie app.

Pastor Robin, in particular, had the privilege of gaining insights into operating on Amateur Radio (HF) High-frequencies. This experience further reinforced DRMI volunteers commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of emergency communication.

Additionally, Pastor Raul and Pastor Robin had the honor of spending time with members of Hillsborough County ARES/RACE at the Hillsborough County Public Safety Operations Center/Emergency Operations Center (PSOC/EOC). This invaluable opportunity allowed them to gain firsthand knowledge of the operational aspects and best practices in emergency communication within the county.
