DRMI Chaplains Serve at Tampa Fire Rescue’s 130th Birthday Celebration

On Saturday, May 11th, at the invitation of Daniel Navarro, Director of Volunteer Services for The Salvation Army Tampa Area Command, Disaster Response Ministries International (DRMI) Chaplains deployed the Salvation Army Canteen truck to provide hydration and support for volunteers, staff, and guests attending Tampa Fire Rescue’s 130th Birthday Celebration and Open House, held at the Tampa Fire Rescue Academy.


This special event celebrated 130 years of dedicated service by Tampa Fire Rescue to the citizens of Tampa and surrounding communities.


Congratulations to Tampa Fire Rescue on this incredible milestone!


We also extend a heartfelt thank you to The Salvation Army Tampa Area Command for the continued partnership and opportunity to serve together in meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our community.
