Yesterday afternoon, Tampa International Airport called upon The Salvation Army Tampa Area Command to provide support for passengers of a flight that was diverted due to an emergency situation.
Upon invitation from Major Mark Woodcock of The Salvation Army Tampa Area Command, Disaster Response Ministries International (DRMI) Chaplains were honored to respond and assist by providing emotional and spiritual care to passengers and others affected by the incident.
A special thank you to Major Mark Woodcock for the invitation and for trusting in our DRMI Chaplains to serve alongside The Salvation Army team during this critical moment.
We are deeply grateful for this ongoing partnership and the shared mission of bringing comfort, compassion, and hope to those in times of need.
Please continue to keep all passengers, responders, and volunteers in your prayers.
